Coronavirus Testing:  UR Medicine Urgent Care tests and treats those who are ill with COVID-19 symptoms. For testing information for those who do not have symptoms, download information on other COVID-19 testing sites.

Important Information Regarding COVID Testing

  • UR Medicine Urgent Care is not a COVID testing only site.
  • Individuals who are NOT ILL or have mild symptoms and need COVID testing should use public testing locations operated by the county, state or local pharmacies.
  • It is NOT necessary to confirm a positive rapid COVID test. Unless you need medical care, you should remain isolated at home and contact the Monroe County DOH to report a positive test.
  • We do NOT provide COVID tests for exposure or those that do not have symptoms.

medical maskGiven the high transmissibility of the COVID Omicron variant, cloth masks are not permitted in UR Medicine hospitals, on- and off-site ambulatory clinics, clinical labs, and clinical research areas.

To keep everyone safe, medical masks must be worn and will be provided upon request.

UR Medicine Urgent Care is open to treat patients on-site. To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, all UR Medicine Urgent Care locations are following strict guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), such as disinfecting frequently, wearing face masks and plastic face shields and following social distancing guidelines.
