Clinical Fellowship Program

The University of Rochester offers four clinical fellowship positions on a yearly basis. We are pleased to announce that we will be offering all four of these fellowship positions for 2023-2024.  Application deadlines and start dates for each position vary.  Fellowship positions are offered in the following specialty areas:

• Acute Care at Strong Memorial Hospital
  • (Application deadline: February 28^th, 2024)
  • Start date: July 2024
• Acute Rehabilitation at Strong Memorial Hospital
  • (Application deadline: March 1^st, 2024)
  • ​Start date: July 2024
• The Voice & Swallowing Center at Clinton Woods
  • (Application deadline: February 1^st, 2024)
  • Start date: September 2024

As announced with limited exceptions, the University is requiring all faculty and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Candidates who wish to apply for more than one position should send separate applications, as each position is chosen by a different selection committee.  Please tailor your application to the guidelines specified for the position.

Our Clinical Fellowship Program is intensive and a firm 12-month commitment is expected. Fellows may be required to work weekends and holidays, depending on a specialty area and coverage required.  Start dates vary based on the individual clinical fellowship position.  Each fellow will participate in a multidisciplinary team model using a patient centered approach. Fellows are expected to work closely with their fellowship supervisor to direct and self-reflect on their learning and skills throughout the process.
