Speech-Language Pathology Services

We provide:

  • Speech and language evaluations
  • Voice evaluations and therapy in association with the Center for the Care of the Professional Voice
  • Speech and language therapy provided to individuals with disorders related to:
    • Articulation
    • Cerebral Palsy
    • Delayed Language
    • Head Injury
    • Laryngectomy
    • Neurological Disorders
    • Strokes
    • Voice Disorder 

Swallowing (Dysphagia) Services

We provide:

  • Oral phase evaluations
  • Three-phase videofluoroscopic evaluations
  • Swallowing therapy and recommendations to help with swallowing difficulty, as well as coughing or choking during meals

The most sensitive means of diagnosis and management of swallowing include Videofluoroscopy Pharyngograms, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Surface Electromygraphic Swallowing Training and Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation Using Vital Stim Therapy.
