Don BrownDonald Brown, PT, DPT
Chief of PMR Outpatient Physical Therapy

Don graduated from Ithaca College with a BS in Health Science and combined Masters and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy. Don has been with URMC since 2006 and is the chief of our outpatient physical therapy department. Don's clinical interests are in general orthopedics, in particular pre and postoperative shoulder rehab.

Joe GrisetaJoseph Griseta, PT, DPT
Senior Physical Therapist

Joe received his Bachelors and Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from D ’Youville College and Doctor to Physical Therapy from Upstate Medical University. Joe is the senior therapist at our outpatient office and has been with the University of Rochester for over 20 years, working primarily with patients with spine and orthopedic conditions.

Sherrie AlbertoSherrielyn Alberto, PTA​

Sherrie graduated from SUNY Canton College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science/ Physical Therapist Assistant. She's been working for the University since 2001. Sherrie has experience providing care for patients with various orthopedic and neurological injuries and has a certification in Myofascial Release.

Christopher AndreasChristopher Andreas, PT, DPT​

Chris graduated from Daemen College with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. Chris has been working in outpatient orthopedics since graduating and joined URMC in 2022. Chris has experience treating a variety of orthopedic and sports related conditions as well as neurological conditions such as vestibular disorders and concussion.

Kim BarkerKimberly Barker, PT

Kim graduated with her PT degree from the University of Oklahoma and has been with URMC for over 20 years. Kim primarily treats patients with pain and a variety of orthopedic conditions, but also has experience treating concussion, balance and vestibular disorders.

Meg BatemanMargaret Bateman, PT, DPT

Margaret (Meg) graduated from Nazareth College with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Meg joined our URMC outpatient therapy team in 2021 and treats a wide variety of diagnoses with an interest in balance and neurologic disorders. Meg is a PWR! Moves certified therapist specializing in functional training for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Meg also volunteers weekly for Rochester’s local wheelchair rugby team, The WNY Wreckers.

Anna CrowellAnna Crowell, BS, DPT

Anna graduated from Ithaca College with a BS in Clinical Health Studies and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Anna joined the URMC outpatient therapy team in 2023 and treats a wide variety of orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses. Anna also has an interest in treating children and teenagers as well as people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Scott DonachieScott Donachie, PT, DPT

Scott graduated from Nazareth College with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021 and joined our outpatient therapy team in 2023.  Scott worked as a traveling physical therapist prior to joining URMC, giving him experience with numerous clinical settings and patient populations. Scott treats a variety of neurological and orthopedic conditions but has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation.

Aurore Dorsinville-JeanAurore Dorsinville-Jean, PT, DPT

Aurore joined URMC in 2021 after graduating from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, followed by her Doctoral of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of the Incarnate Word. Aurore also has specialized training in pelvic floor physical therapy from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute and is our pelvic floor physical therapist. Aurore also has experience treating patients with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions with an interest in balance, concussion, and vestibular dysfunctions.

Julianna GattoJulianna Gatto, PT, DPT

Julianna graduated from Nazareth College with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is a certified brain injury specialist (CBIS). She joined our URMC outpatient team in 2021 and treats patients with a variety of neurological and orthopedic conditions. Julianna has a particular interest in traumatic brain injury, stroke and balance disorders.  Julianna also helps to cover our multidisciplinary ALS clinic.

SeanSean Kelley, PT, DPT

Sean graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Buffalo in 2011. Sean has practiced in the outpatient setting his entire career and joined our URMC therapy team in 2019. Sean has experience treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions but has a particular interest in TMJ dysfunction, voice dysphonia, facial and ear pain and post-operative oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Kristen MiloneKristen Milone, PT, DPT

Kristen received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in 2019. She joined the URMC outpatient therapy team in 2020 and has prior experience in acute care and inpatient rehab. She treats a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions with a particular interest in post-ICU rehabilitation. Kristen also acts as our Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE) where she coordinates the clinical rotations of student physical therapists at our outpatient facility.

Dominic PalmaDominic Palma, PT, DPT

Dominic received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Manhattan College in 2020 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nazareth College in 2023. Dominic joined the URMC outpatient therapy team in 2023 and enjoys treating patients with a variety of neurological and orthopedic conditions.

Outpatient Brain Injury Coordinator

Emily graduated from Nazareth College with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and joined our URMC outpatient therapy team in 2019. Emily is a certified brain injury specialist (CBIS) and is our Outpatient Brain Injury Coordinator.  Emily treats a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses with a special interest in intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition to our outpatient office, Emily also provides therapy services at the University’s Complex Care Center where she works with adults with childhood onset conditions.

MariaMaria Ribeiro, PTA

Maria is a physical therapy assistant who graduated from Genesee Community College with an A.A.S. degree in Physical Therapy. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Bombay University, India. She has been with URMC since 2001 and has clinical experience in varied settings including general outpatient orthopedics, post-operative rehab, balance/vestibular disorders, varied neurological conditions and inpatient rehab care.

Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy

Nick received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University and joined the URMC outpatient therapy team in 2018. Nick treats a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions and his interests include concussion, vestibular dysfunction, stroke, amputation, post-operative rehab and helping individuals of all ages get stronger to optimize function and independence. Nick also works with the URMC multidisciplinary Hereditary Ataxia Program.

Physical Therapy Neurology Residency Director

Julie has been with the University since 2013 and is specialized in neurologic and stroke rehabilitation. Julie is board-certified in neurological physical therapy and is our Physical Therapy Neurology Residency Director where she coordinates an intensive year-long training program for therapists focused specifically on neurological rehabilitation.

Dylan Gawinski SternDylan Gawinski Stern, PT, DPT​ (she/her/hers)

Dylan graduated from Ithaca College with a BS in Clinical Health Studies and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Dylan’s experience working with all age groups across the country and abroad led to the discovery of her passion: working with children and teens. Dylan joined the URMC pediatric therapy team in 2022 and treats a variety of pediatric disorders from birth to early adulthood through therapeutic engagement, purposeful play and family involvement.

AlisonAlison Volturno, PT, DPT (she/her/hers)

Alison is a pediatric physical therapist who graduated from Nazareth College with a BS in Health Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Alison joined our URMC team in 2018 with a focus on a variety of pediatric disorders across all age groups.
