About the Director
Tziporah Rosenberg, PhD, LMFT, is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Family Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed her master’s and doctoral level training in Family Therapy at Syracuse University, followed by a two year postdoctoral fellowship in Medical Family Therapy at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Since 2008, he has been a member of the core faculty in the Family Therapy Training Program where she teaches and supervises masters students and post-doctoral fellows in systemic psychotherapy and medical family therapy. She also serves as the Family Therapy Services Clinical Coordinator and Training Clinic Director for a 3-site outpatient behavioral health service with two integrated care clinics in the Departments of Family Medicine and OBGYN at the Medical Center. In the Department of Family Medicine, she teaches and trains residents as one of the psychosocial faculty members, and maintains a clinical practice working with patient families managing chronic illness, with a specific focus on diabetes. In addition to her direct teaching and administrative responsibilities, she is thoroughly enjoying promoting Medical Center initiatives toward patient and family centered care, as well as team-based care, through staff and team trainings, as well as serving as a coach in the Medical Center's PFCC Coaching Program.
