Our patients are typically seen and treated within an hour. However, times may vary depending on the number of patients at the center and the type of injuries or illnesses. If you need tests such as x-rays or labs, it may require extra time.

How much does a visit cost and what insurances are accepted?

As with most urgent care centers, we request payment at the time of your service. Fees may vary depending on the level of service you need and the type of insurance plan you have. If you have questions about insurance or payment, please ask at our reception desk when you arrive. We are always happy to help.

Is UR Medicine Urgent Care open to the public, or do I have to be a UR Medicine patient?

UR Medicine Urgent Care provides care to everyone. You do not need to be a UR Medicine patient to be seen.

Will my primary care physician know that I was seen at UR Medicine Urgent Care?

We will inform your primary care physician that you were seen at UR Medicine Urgent Care. If you are a UR Medicine patient, your electronic medical record will be updated automatically. If you aren't a UR Medicine patient, we will send a report to your primary care physician.
