Fuel Your Energy

Being productive isn’t just about goals and time management. It’s also about how well you manage your energy. You have three energy spheres: physical, emotional, and mental. Each one fluctuates throughout the day, so pay attention to when they peak and align your tasks accordingly. For example, tackle mentally demanding work when your mind is sharp, and switch to physical tasks when mental clarity dips. Nurture them, replenish them, and be aware of each peak period. The art of energy optimization is to align tasks with the times of day when energy spheres are strongest so you can work efficiently and keep your momentum. When energy is low in one area, you can shift to a task requiring physical movement. Try logging your energy levels throughout the day on a scale from 1 to 10 for each energy sphere. Patterns will reveal your peaks. Once you know them, you’ll likely use them to accomplish more.
