Can Visitors Bring Food From Home for Patients?
It is OK for your family and friends to bring food from outside of the hospital. Be sure that you are in compliance with the diet your physician has prescribed for you. If you have questions, a Registered Dietitian can assist you. Refrigerators are available in the kitchenettes located on each patient unit; please write your name and the date on the package. For safety reasons, unlabeled food will be thrown away.
Is there Food Available on Unit for Patients?
Each patient unit has a kitchenette where snacks, beverages, and oral supplements are kept and available for patients only. The items available may not always be appropriate for your diet type.
