Simon CarsonSimon Carson, OT/L, MBA

Simon is Chief of Occupational Therapy. He received his Masters in Occupational Therapy from Ithaca College. Simon also received his MBA and Masters in Medical Management from the University of Rochester's Simon School of Business.

His areas of interest include SCI and cognitive rehabilitation, as well as operations management, quality assurance and leadership.

Dana EmeryDana Emery, OTD, OTR/L

Dana graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy from Utica College of Syracuse University. Dana has worked at Strong for over 10 years with a specialty in the treatment of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, brachial plexus injury, vascular surgery, cardiac surgery, cardiac transplant and ventricular assist device patients. Dana has written a text book chapter on Occupational Therapy's treatment of Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, due to be released in late 2011.

Katie SchweitzerKatie Schweitzer, MOT, OTR/L

Katie is a Senior Occupational Therapist currently working in Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.  She received her undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Buffalo and has received her post-professional Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Boston University.  Katie has worked at the University of Rochester for over 13 years and her specialty areas include spinal cord injury rehabilitation, burn and upper extremity injury rehabilitation and splinting.

Mary-Beth KushnerMary-Beth Kushner, OTR/L

Mary is a full-time Senior Occupational Therapist currently working in Acute Care at Strong Memorial Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College in 1999. Mary recently relocated to Rochester after working many years at the Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland Medical Center. Her specialty areas include neurotrauma/rehab and multi-trauma in the acute care setting. Currently, Mary is the primary adult burn therapist.

Bridgid Aini Bridgid Aini, OTR/L

Bridgid graduated from Keuka College with Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2006.  She has been working in the Rochester and Buffalo areas primarily with the geriatric population.  She has extensive experience in the rehab continuum after the acute care hospital stay.  She is currently working with the inpatient acute care team at the University of Rochester Medical Center.  

Jessica BauerJessica Bauer, OTR/L

Jessica is a staff occupational therapist who graduated from D'Youville College with a combined Bachelors and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy and with a minor in psychology. Jessica is currently working on the inpatient rehabilitation team at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Valerie BensonValerie Benson, MA, OTR/L

Valerie is a staff Occupational Therapist who received her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. She continued at University of Southern California for her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Currently, Valerie is working in acute care at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Sarah ByrneSarah Byrne MS, OTR/L

Sarah is an Occupational Therapist who graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science, Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, and a Minor in Health and Human Wellness from University at Buffalo. She is currently working as part of the physical medicine and rehabilitation team at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Laura DelehantyLaura Delehanty, MS, OTR/L

Laura received an MA in Exercise Physiology from the Ohio State University in 2001 and her MS in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University in 2004. Since then she has been working in acute care, acute rehab, subacute rehab and outpatient clinics. Laura recently relocated to the Rochester area from Chicago and is splitting her time between the acute care team and outpatient OT clinic.

Caitlin is an Occupational Therapist who received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and her combined Bachelor and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University at Buffalo.  She is currently working as a part of the adult acute care team at Strong Memorial Hospital. 

Nancy DukelowNancy Dukelow MS, OTR/L

Nancy is a Staff Occupational Therapist in Acute Care. She obtained her BS/MS from The Sage Colleges. Her specialty areas include Stroke Rehabilitation, Cognition, Visual-Perception, Oncology, and Neurological Rehabilitation.

Amanda HoweAmanda Howe BS/MS, OTR/L

Amanda is an Occupational Therapist who graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from University at Buffalo. She is currently working as part of the rehab team at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Jayne KnowltonJayne Knowlton, MS, OTR/L

Jayne has extensive experience in hand rehabilitation having been a CHT for 15 years. She came to URMC to expand her practice and now works in acute care, and the outpatient setting with a focus on cancer care.

Julie KunischJulie Kunisch, OTD, OTR/L

Julie has her bachelor's in occupational therapy from University at Buffalo and her doctorate in occupational therapy from Boston University. She is a staff therapist working on the acute care team and specializing in General Medicine, Neuro-rehabilitation and Pediatrics. She also works in the pediatric physical disabilities clinic through the Kirch Center. She is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. Julie has worked at the university for over 10 years.

Kaitlyn MongioviKaitlyn Mongiovi, MS, OTR/L

Kaitlyn is a staff occupational therapist who received her combined Bachelors and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy with a minor in psychology from D'Youville College. Kaitlyn is a member of our adult acute care team.

Jennifer MulfordJennifer Mulford, MS, OTR/L

Jennifer Mulford is a senior pediatric Occupational Therapist. She received her Bachelors of Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has over 20 years of experience in the field. Her practice has enabled multiple teaching, mentoring and program development opportunities. Her passion is pediatrics, specializing in developmental and feeding progression of medically fragile infants. She is a dedicated professional eligible for neonatal therapy certification in 2018. She has recently returned to URMC after 12 years in Arizona.

Hannah PeckHannah Peck, MS, OTR/L

Hannah is a pediatric occupational therapist in the outpatient clinic. She graduated with her Master's in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in 2011. She specializes in sensory processing and developmental disabilities. Hannah is a recent graduate from the Multidisciplinary Fellowship, LEND, at the University of Rochester. The LEND Fellowship focused on leadership and education in providing person centered care to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Laura RenwickLaura Renwick, MS, OTR/L

Laura graduated from Ithaca College with a combined Bachelors and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Laura is a member of the inpatient pediatric team serving both Strong Memorial Hospital and Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Alex RobinsAlexandra Robins MS, OTR/L

Alex is a pediatric occupational therapist who works in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She completed her Bachelors of Science in psychology at Wake Forest University and her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. Her previous experience includes school and hospital outpatient settings. She takes special interest in sensory processing and pediatric feeding.

Jordyn RiceJordyn Rice, MS, OTR/L

Jordyn is a staff occupational therapist who received her B.A. in Sociology from Buffalo State College and her B.S./Master's in Occupational Therapy from the Keuka College. Jordyn is currently working in the acute care setting at Strong Memorial Hospital with focus in neuro/ brain injury.

Alyssa SiricaAlyssa Sirica, MS, OTR/L​

Alyssa is a staff occupational therapist who graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from University at Buffalo. She is currently working as part of the inpatient rehabilitation team at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Jessica is a staff occupational therapist, who received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Niagara University and her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University. Jessica is currently working on the inpatient rehabilitation team at the University of Rochester Medical Center. 

Chris StaviskyChris Stavisky, MOT, OTR/L

Chris is a staff occupational therapist experienced in the outpatient, acute care, and acute rehab settings. He primarily works in the outpatient setting, and is an occupational therapist for the URMC Sports Concussion Clinic, as well as the URMC Integrative Cognitive Rehabilitation Program (ICRP). He received his BS degree in Kinesiology and Movement Science from Penn State University in 2005, and his Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Saint Francis University in 2008. Chris's interests and clinical specialties include cognitive rehab, vision rehab, spinal cord injury, upper extremity prosthetics, myoelectric prosthetics, and adapted sports for individuals with physical disabilities.

Meghann RoseBeth Tarduno, OTR/L

Beth is a Staff Occupational Therapist. She received her undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University. Her specialty is Neurorehabilitation.  Beth became a Certified Neurodevelopmental (NDT) Instructor for adult hemiplegia in 1998, through the NDTA.  She teaches introductory and certification courses throughout the US and in Canada.  Beth is also a Kinesiotape Practitioner (KTP), completing the training and exam in 2008.

 Megan VosMegan Vos, MS, OTR/L

Megan is a pediatric occupational therapist working in the outpatient clinic.  She graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2013.  Megan is a per diem therapist that primarily works later clinic hours so that we may better accommodate patient’s scheduling needs.

Megan WallaceMegan Wallace, OTR/L

Megan is a full-time staff Occupational Therapist who graduated with her combined Bachelors and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University at Buffalo in 2012. She is currently working as part of the adult acute care team at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Lisa WaltherLisa Walther, OTR/L

Lisa is a staff Occupational Therapist who received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at SUNY Geneseo in 2009. She then attended Nazareth College where she received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Lisa is a part of the inpatient rehab team.

Wendal WilsonWendal Wilson, MS, OTR/L

Wendal graduated from the University of Buffalo and began her career in OT in 1980. Wendal worked in acute, and long term care rehabilitation for many years, and is certified in adult neurodevelopmental treatment. She works as a per diem therapist at Strong Memorial Hospital.
