Strong Minds Research Consultation Team

Interested in conducting research within our Department of Psychiatry UR Mental Health and Wellness clinical services? 

The mission of the Strong Minds Research Consultation Team is to provide consultation for clinical investigators interested in conducting research within our Strong Minds adult outpatient mental health and wellness service. Consultation services include feedback about project proposals, consultation around the logistics related to launching research projects within our various settings, and assistance collaborating with and integrating into our clinical teams. 

Targeted outpatient services include:

  • The Deaf Wellness Center (DWC) engages in clinical services, teaching, and research activities that pertain to mental health, healthcare, sign language interpreting, and other topics that affect the lives of people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. 
  • Lazos Fuertes offers an array of services and treatments for Spanish Speaking persons 18 years and older including individual and group counseling.
  • Strong Minds Adult Outpatient Services evaluates and treats individuals 18 years of age and up with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, among others.
