Diverse T cell functions are controlled by a variety of mechanisms, but one area of neglected study is that of how cellular metabolism participates in the control of T cell fate and function. The Topham lab aims to use molecular and computational methods to more deeply understand these tightly controlled metabolic networks and how they impact immunity and the generation of tissue resident memory. Fluximplied is one computational tool to further interrogate omics datasets to understand these metabolic controls.
