CT � Subdural hematoma: This 20-year-old man presented with a decreased level of consciousness following a motor vehicle accident. Examination revealed him to be drowsy, with poor attention and left-sided hemiparesis. The axial CT image shows a lentiform-shaped fluid collection that is heterogeneous with hyperdense and isodense signal along the right fronto-parietal region, significant lateral ventricle effacement, and midline shift with subfalcial herniation, consistent with a subdural hematoma.
