Dialysis Tech 

Job Details:

Full Time, Day/Evenings w/ weekend and holiday rotation.

Job Description:

Prepare and calibrate equipment used in chronic dialysis units.  Perform  monitoring of water system and basic preventive maintenance.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.  Clinical Certified Hemodialysis Technician (Bonnet Certified) required within 12 months of employment.

Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds on a daily basis.  Must have high attention to detail and be mechanically inclined to work with mechanical equipment.  Experience in hospital setting preferred.

Telecommunications Attendant

Job Details:

Full Time & Per Diem, Various shifts including weekends

Job Description:

Operate main telephone console for the facility.  To provide communications for the hospital as emergency, current and routine information.  Direct calls to the appropriate areas, staff and physicians.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Computer Experience required.   Secretarial experience preferred with typing/keyboarding skills preferred.

Patient Registration Counselor

Job Details:

Full Time & Per Diem Positions, Various Shifts including weekends

Job Description:

Arrange for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients, the registration of outpatients, ensure that accurate patient information is collected and that patients are made aware of hospital policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Computer Experience required. Basic knowledge of medical terminology helpful.  Secretarial experience preferred with typing/keyboarding skills preferred.

Door Monitor

Job Details:

Full Time, Temp Evenings and weekends

Job Description:

 Monitor the hospital entrance and screen employees and visitors by asking a set of questions, taking temperatures, handing out masks as needed, and reinforcing proper hand hygiene.  During visiting hours, keep a log of visitor, who they are visiting, unit, room, and bed #, issue corresponding badge, and when visit is done, collect and sanitize badge.

Job Requirements:

 High School diploma or equivalent required.  Individual must be confident enough to enforce rules set for entrance into the Hospital.  Customer Service background with good communication and organizational skills a plus.

Journeyman Electrician & Technical Specialist

Job Details:

Full Time, Days w/call (weekends when necessary)

Job Description:

Performs electrical/electronic troubleshooting, installation, repair and programming of hospital's BMS (Building Management System)and associated equipment, commercial/residential electrical systems - High and low voltage (12600, 277/480, 120/208) and below, IT systems cabling, electrical substations, transformers, switchboards, panel
boards, variable speed drives, motor control centers and complex motor control, building fire and security systems with full knowledge of National Electrical Code. Performs duties of the Skilled Maintenance Mechanic when not engaged as an electrician.

Job Requirements:

High school graduate or greater. Completed electrical apprenticeship / certified journeyman. Master Electrician preferred or similar experience.

Minimum 7 years as journeyman electrician level preferred. Master electrician license preferred or equivalent through many years of experience in the areas listed above required. Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) preferred. Must have valid driver's license. Factory training experience on major areas of responsibility preferred - Drives, Transformers, UPS systems, generators, high voltage equipment, building control equipment preferred.

Coder

Job Details:

Full Time & Per Diem, Days 

Job Description:

Code outpatient, and ancillary records using ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines for correct APC/APG assignment. Assign the Physician's Evaluation/Management service code. Perform clinical and demographic abstracting in UDS and Meditech computer system. Enter deficiencies in the chart tracking system. Review charts for data retrieval for hospital/medical staff quality, risk and infection control activities.

Job Requirements:

Two years college (Medical Record Technology or HIM independent study course) with ICD-10/CPT-4 coding courses or equivalent in training and experience required. RHIT eligible or accreditation as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) (or
within the first year) and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or RHIT eligible required.

Previous experience coding, using ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4 in a Medical Records Department or Physician's office required. Experience using a personal computer or terminal preferred.

Billing Representative I (On Hold)

Job Details:

Full Time, Days

Job Description:

Provide assistance to all patients regarding financial transactions during their stay and treatment at the hospital. Manage all patient accounts, utilizing the policies and procedures of the hospital.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent with typing and general knowledge of office equipment plus legible handwriting and English required. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions and established procedures required. Experience in office procedures required. Experience in medical billing or related field desired.
