Saturday Work 5/14

Crews will be on site 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday 5/14 continuing work inside the tower. Activities will include fire proofing structural members, framing, layout, plumbing, and duct work. Exterior work will include framing and sheathing on the north and south sides of the building.

During the week, crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both the tower crane and buck hoist will be in use. Contractors will be fire proofing structural members on the 4^th floor and the mechanical penthouse. Interior and exterior framing will be installed on the 5^th, 6^th, 7^th floors, and the mechanical penthouse. Drywall top fill will be put in on the 5^th and 6^th floors. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing rough ins are also being installed in multiple locations within the building. Roof demo and curb prep for the new boiler room directly above the 2^nd floor south, west corner of the observation unit.

Starting tomorrow through next Friday, crews will also be on site working on an elevator in the main hospital parking garage. This work will be done on weekdays only, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will involve using a compressor which may create noise on the Rockingham St. side of the hospital.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
