Work Begins on Fuel Tank Installation

Work Begins on Fuel Tank Installation

Site work has resumed starting with excavation for the shoring and fuel tanks which will take place over the 2 weeks. A new pipeline is also being installed during this time. Both projects are expected to create noise of debris dumping and back up trucks. There is also the potential for some minor vibration. There will be no work on Thanksgiving Day.

Due to the location of the fuel tank installation, crews will need to use the Mt. Vernon Ave. site access as the main entrance for deliveries to and from the site for about two weeks. Trucks using this route will drive from the Mt. Vernon access point down to Rockingham and through to South Ave. and will return using the same route.

A lift will be parked in the Mt. Vernon Ave. cut out from Wednesday 11/18 until Friday 11/20 as crews work to repair some masonry on that side of the hospital. Traffic will not be impacted but some back up truck noise and other construction noise can be expected from this activity during regular business hours.

Focus Continues on Interior Construction

Focus Continues on Interior Construction

There will be little or no exterior site for the next couple of weeks as demolition and new construction focus on the interior of the building.  Delivery trucks and dumpster deliveries and removals will continue utilizing the South Access Drive off South Avenue with no deliveries before 7 a.m.
