A Novel 3D Scleroderma Skin Model to Test Therapeutic TRPC6 Modulation
Patient fibroblasts represent a key tool to understand this process but they need to be kept in physiologic conditions in order to maintain their native phenotype. To this end, this work will develop a novel (3D) skin model which can facilitate the development of novel scleroderma treatments. The collection of scleroderma and healthy control skin biopsies and blood samples, isolate monocytes, culture of fibroblast and keratinocytes are used in 3D tissue culture on electro spun matrices
