Safe delivery is only one portion of the care team, and at UR Medicine Maternal-Fetal Care we work closely with our pediatric specialists at UR Medicine’s Golisano Children’s Hospital (GCH) who help to make sure that all necessary treatment and support for you and your baby is available after birth.

When you are expecting a baby with a medical condition, it is important to know that your team has experience treating similar infants. Although every baby is unique, the specialists at GCH and UR Medicine Maternal-Fetal Care are the most experienced teams in the Upstate region in caring for these infants and their parents.

Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists partner with GCH to offer specialized resources for babies including neonatology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric ENT (including the Pediatric Cleft and Craniofacial Center), pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, and a wide range of other pediatric specialties.

For parents and their families who require shelter and support while their child receives healthcare at UR Medicine, we partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester, with locations on-site (House within the Hospital) and nearby.
