Fuel Pump Room and Tower Crane Pad

Fuel Pump Room and Tower Crane Pad

The process of building the foundation for the Fuel Oil Pump Room is underway along the south side of the existing South Addition. Work includes drilling into the existing South Addition foundation walls to install anchors for the new foundation walls, assembly and installation of the reinforcing bars and construction of the foundation wall forms.

Installation of shoring and excavation for the tower crane pad (concrete base) starts this week. This is expected to create noise, but not as much as previous shoring as a different type of shoring system is being used.
