The Lown Institute Hospitals Index ranked Highland first of the nearly 3,100 facilities on the list. Strong Memorial Hospital ranked tenth. Highland and Strong Memorial Hospitals Achieve Highest Level of Age-Friendly Health System Certification The University of Rochester Aging Institute announced that both Strong Memorial and Highland hospitals have been certified as Age-Friendly Health System (AFHS) participants, part of a nationwide movement to improve health care for older adults. 123
