When you call into the Crisis Call Line you will hear a brief message asking you to remain on the line until you are connected. Who will I speak with? The URMC Crisis Call Line is staffed by master's level counselors, who are trained in crisis management. What should I expect to hear from the counselor? The counselor will listen to you, help you talk through the problem and suggest possible solutions. What if I need additional help? The counselor will help you connect to local services, including referrals to the Mobile Crisis Team if you live in Monroe County.
