Thank you for your interest in the Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at the University of Rochester. Our Postdoctoral Fellowship Program consider applications from individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Must have completed an APA accredited clinical, counseling, or school psychology graduate training program.
  • Must have completed an APA accredited clinical, counseling, or school psychology internship.

  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Clinical Work Sample (de-identified)
  • Certificate of doctoral degree completion*
  • Psychology Application Supplement

*We realize that certificates of doctoral degree completion may not be available to many candidates who are completing internships or other degree requirements. In these instances, we have available a form to be completed by you and your graduate training director verifying that the doctoral degree requirements will be met prior to the anticipated start of the fellowship program.


All applications are reviewed by training program faculty. Interviews will be offered to selected applicants based on the degree of fit with our program. Interviews typically occur during the months of January/February, although there may be changes based on program needs and availability.
