Our Staff Strong EAP staff has earned the reputation for achieving high clinical standards in our industry. All staff hold a master’s degree in the mental health field and have experience with a variety of sub-specialties, which include: Crisis counseling, marriage/family therapy, substance abuse counseling, child and adolescent counseling, and critical incident stress debriefing. Beth D. Danehy, MA Beth Danehy (Director) holds a Master's Degree in Conflict Engagement & Analysis and additional graduate education in counseling and dance and movement therapy. She has more than 16 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. Areas of expertise include relationship and family conflict, mediation, change management, conflict coaching as well as grief and loss. Beth has facilitated numerous workshops and provided training locally and nationally on communication, conflict theory and transformation. Beth joined Strong EAP in May 2012. She serves on the Advisory Board of ACT for the Children (Assisting Children through Transition), a parent education program for parents living apart. Sigrid Adler, LCSW Ms. Sigrid Adler, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York. Ms. Adler is skilled in providing psychotherapy and crisis intervention to individuals, couples, and families dealing with such issues as; mood disorders, anxiety, marital discord, parrent/child conflict, workplace stress, and the impact trauma. Other areas of expertise include the provision of service to emergency services personnel; including law enforcement and first responders. Ms. Adler is a member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She has been an employee of Strong Behavioral Health for over 13 years. Jason Knupp, LCSW Jason Knupp is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience. Jason has worked throughout Monroe, Orleans, and Wayne County providing mental health and addictions counseling while also maintaining a private psychotherapy practice for individuals and couples. Areas of expertise include anxiety, stress management, anger, depression, and relationship conflicts.Jason also has extensive group and individual counseling experience dealing with drug and alcohol addiction. Jason joined Strong EAP in June 2012. Michelle Solomou, LCSW Michelle Solomou received her Master's degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her work has been with individuals, couples, children, adolescents and families experiencing challenges with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, workplace stress and relationship issues. Michelle joined Strong EAP in September 2008. Tracy Garofalo-Bussey, LMHC Tracy Bussey is a licensed mental health counselor in the State of New York. Tracy earned her Masters of Education in Counseling from Northern Arizona University. She has over fourteen years of experience in the field, including extensive work with the Native American population, and other under-represented groups. Tracy has served as a Therapist for well known area hospitals, while also maintaining a local private counseling practice for individuals, couples and families. Her areas of specialization include anxiety and depression, relationship issues, nutrition and mental health, life transitions, trauma recovery, and multi-cultural challenges. Tracy is working on her doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Rochester. She joined Strong EAP in March 2015. Anne Lenox, LMHC, NCC, CEAP Anne Lenox is a LIcensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York. She is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and a Nationally Certified Counselor. Anne has over 15 years of clinical experience working in mental health settings and Employee Assistance Programs, while also maintaining a private psychotherapy practice for individuals and couples. Areas of expertise include grief, transition, workplace stress, trauma, anxiety, anger, depression, and relationship conflicts. Anne has facilitated numerous workshops covering topics such as coping with stress, adapting to change, workplace violence, sexual harassment, building resiliency, and communication/conflict management. Anne joined Strong EAP in June 2007; Colleen LeFay Colleen LeFay is the Office Coordinator at Strong EAP. Her previous work experience includes more than 20 years of administrative skills in customer service, finance, credit, and information technology departments. She joined Strong EAP in October 2010. She is skillful in fostering a confidential, comfortable and safe atmosphere for employees and their family members as they seek assistance from Strong EAP.
