Flavoring Inhalation Toxicology Research

Our mission is to understand the inhalation toxicology and human health effects of emerging flavoring chemicals and flavors used in electronic cigarettes and emerging tobacco and non-tobacco products (e-cigarettes, JUUL, vape pens, hookah/waterpipe, iQOS and conventional tobacco/cigarettes) for regulatory science and toxicology.

This center was created as a part of the mission on the NIH Tobacco Center for Regulatory Science grant (1U54CA228110-01) in partnership with Roswell Park Cancer Center.  The center is housed in the Department of Environmental Medicine.
