The Evarts Joint Center is the region's premier center for joint replacement surgery of the upper and lower extremeties. It's the only center in the region that offers comprehensive orthopaedic services that include arthroscopy and osteotomy for joint related problems in the hip and knee. The orthopaedic surgeons at Highland specialize in the research and care of fracture and trauma cases. The Geriatric Fracture Center at Highland Hospital is the first facility of its kind dedicated exclusively to the care of elderly patients with bone fractures. Our geriatricians and orthopaedic surgeons work together to co-manage the complex medical needs of elderly patients. We’re pioneering total quality management for geriatric fracture patient care and raising the standard of care for elderly fracture patients around the world. The Orthopaedics Center is the entryway for most non-emergency orthopaedic care at Highland, and is conveniently located near the lobby of the Hospital. We offer comprehensive state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical treatments for most musculoskeletal conditions including injuries to cartilage and ligaments, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, congenital abnormalities, and bone cancer.
