iPads at URMC/SMD

iPads at URMC/SMD provides information about iPad setup and support.

Print From Your Laptop

You can now print directly to Miner printers from your laptop! This installer will allow you to print both to our color and B&W printers from your Windows-based laptop. Mac installer and instructions coming soon.

Antivirus Services

Students are eligible to receive Sophos antivirus software for their personal computers. Miner Library only supports the use of this installer by students.

Connecting from home - VPN Service for Students

Miner Library does not provide its own VPN service for students, but students can install the service Information Systems Division (ISD) provides. ISD is the normal support avenue for the VPN service, however, Miner Library will make a reasonable attempt to assist you with the service. Contact the Computing Center Help Desk for assistance.

Wireless networking is available throughout Miner Library. Here are some general instructions, but they are not intended to be a replacement for your hardware documentation. Feel free to call us, or drop by the Computing Center for assistance in setting up your wireless connection.
