Dr. Tapia earned his Bachelor of Arts with a degree in English Literature & Writing from Hunter College of the City University of New York. He obtained his medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. He completed his residency in internal medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull in Brooklyn, NY. He is currently completing a fellowship in Rheumatology. His clinical interests include utilizing ultrasound for early detection of rheumatological disease. He is also passionate about medical education and serving communities in need.
