  • Karen Rabinowitz, JD, Legal Counsel and Associate Director of Collaborations in the Center for Health + Technology (CHeT). Ms. Rabinowitz provides legal counsel for the CHET, and for the Center’s Clinical Trials Coordination Center and Clinical Materials Services Unit. She prepares and negotiates contracts with clinical trial sponsors, drug vendors, and consultants, as well as reviews informed consents, conflict-of -interest, and other regulatory documentation for clinical trials. She oversees compliance with internal operating procedures at the Center, and acts as liaison between the Center and various other departments at the University of Rochester. She also serves as Legal Counsel for the Parkinson Study Group, and is an ex-officio member of the Parkinson Study Group’s Executive, Credentials, Standards, Nominating and Symposia Committees.
