Lupus Education Day is a yearly symposium aimed at educating individuals with lupus and their families on the clinical challenges of managing lupus, new trends in the management and treatment of lupus, and the unique challenges of living with lupus. Highlights of this year's program included a discussion of current lupus research by symposium organizer, Jennifer Anolik, MD, PhD, a presentation by Allen Anandarajah, MD, MSc on a patient centered lupus care model, and a presentation by Ummara Shah, MD on the nuts and bolts of lupus.
