Fellowship Programs

URMC Orthopaedics is the largest, most comprehensive orthopaedic practice in the Rochester, NY nine-county region. Our faculty is engaged in every subspecialty of orthopaedics and work in close alliance to address each patient's unique needs.

We see over 100,000 patients each year in our state-of-the-art Clinton Crossings clinic. The co-location of orthopaedic surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, athletic trainers, orthotists, prosthetists, and radiologists working together under one roof ensures continuity of care for our patients and the highest level of collaboration between our healthcare providers.

One of the Department’s major interests is in musculoskeletal research. The creation of the Center for Musculoskeletal Research in 2000 formalized a 25-year history of multidisciplinary, comprehensive research for bettering musculoskeletal health for the patients of today and tomorrow. As one of the NIH’s number one funded orthopaedics department, the Center brings together clinicians, scientists, and clinician-scientists and offers opportunities for basic, translational, and clinical research.
